Android: 3 quick steps

The Android beta runs on Google Play closed testing. Do these steps on the phone you want to play on.

  1. Register your Google Play email

    Use the Gmail account that is signed in to the Play Store on your phone.

  2. Join the tester group

    Open the Google Group and tap Join group. Only group members can install the beta.

  3. Become a tester and install

    Tap Become a tester, then install Zodiac Ascendant from Google Play. It can take a few minutes to appear.

Beta questions

Is it free?

Yes. Zodiac Ascendant is free to play, and joining the beta costs nothing on Android or iOS.

How do I join on Android?

Open the Android tab on the download page and follow 3 steps: register your Google Play email, join the tester Google Group, then tap Become a tester on Google Play and install.

If Google Play does not work for you, you can download the APK directly (304 MB).

How do I join on iPhone or iPad?

iOS is in beta on TestFlight. On the iOS tab, sign up with your Apple ID email, install Apple's free TestFlight app from the App Store, and tap the official TestFlight join link to install in one tap.

Which devices are supported?

Android 8.0 or later, and iPhone or iPad with iOS 15 or later. Recent devices give the smoothest battles.

The Android download is about 304 MB, so Wi-Fi is best.
